Friendly staff, amazing food, and an ocean view! What more could you ask for???

Good service and amazing portions. You could have several meals from one order which makes it a good value. The food isn't amazing but it's good enough. Plus you can eat looking out at the views of Alaska which is something in itself. I think if a family was hungry after whale watching or fishing this would be a great place to grab a quick bite.

You really can't go wrong at Chan's. The food tastes great and the portion size is enormous, plan on having left-overs.

It was our first time in Juneau,My wife and i love Thai food and we always look up for real Thai every time we try new places . Chan's Thai Kitchen located on Glacier hwy just across the road from Auke bay boat ramp,where we saw humpback whale the other day ! Well ,the food at Chans kitchen were so delicious, great personel survice from owners.we love your food guys and absolutely this restaurant is the highly recommended!!

Not sure why anyone would rate less than four stars!? I have seen a line before, never had to actually wait though, only 15 min, tops. The food is always delicious, people always friendly and if any think otherwise, they're either lying or have no idea what great is! If I could, I would rate ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I've always enjoyed eating here. The green curry is our favorite, as is chicken satay and garlic shrimp. We go early or late and not on Friday or Saturday and usually don't have to wait long. It's also open for lunch.

Great little restaurant. I can tell a lot if effort is put into the food. The flavors are fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Spring rolls are really great, as is the Pad Thai, the Tom Kha could use a little more sourness and kick though. We will be back!

The food is amazing but the service is horrible. They never answer the phone for take out orders or when they do, act like it's the most inconvenient thing in the world to serve you. Not worth it...there are other Thai places in town.

The food is and has been amazing for years. But, can the new waitstaff kids get some lessons in manners? The most nonchalant, least effort expended taking care of customers I've experienced in Juneau.

I eat Thai food virtually everywhere I travel, and Chan's ranks highly among those I've tried. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. The asthetic of the venue are a bit lacking, and more oriented for a family dinner than a date night. Try their halibut curry (green halibut curry is available by request) and chicken coconut soup.

Homemade-style Thai food. Family restaurant. Definitely give it a try.

My family has been going to this place for years. We love the food and especially the people. Can't find food like this anywhere else in town. The plates are sharing size and they keep up on refilling your water.

Best Thai food in Alaska!!! I don't let family leave Juneau without going to Chan's at least once. The chicken satay with added spice is my favorite.

The owners here are extremely friendly and the food is extremely good. The thai coffee is to die for!

Chan's has some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The basil chicken and pad Thai are incredible. Make sure you come hungry as the portion sizes are huge so you'll definitely have leftovers! I'll be back!

A local favorite, this is a family-run restaurant that is known for it's great food. While low on ambiance with it's hodgepodge of cheap and slightly uncomfortable chairs and tables, the food is amazing and we'll worth the drive out to Auke Bay. My absolute favorite pork satay ever. Don't miss out on the spring rolls.

Great Thai food made to order. Best in Juneau! Try the spring rolls. Since everything is made to order can get backed up, but your patience is rewarded with great food!

Love their Pad Thai, though very different than the street Pad Thai from Seattle, etc. Still good for Juneau and always leave full and keep coming back with friends. Not the best atmosphere.

Definitely got food poisoning there last night. Had the curry with Chicken and spinach. Was delicious going down, but I'm paying for it right now
